Submit Design

Read Rules

  1. Standards of Acceptability

    1. Offensive language, obscene or demeaning imagery, and anything else we deem unsuitable for our audience will be rejected by College District. In other words, keep it PG-13, use good judgment, and for the love of Pete, please don't submit a design with a guy peeing on a mascot. If this is the height of hilarity for you, just tape your design to the back window of your truck where it belongs.

    2. Make sure you choose the submission type that is most appropriate. If you submit a design in the "standard submission" category and it does not meet basic resolution and/or formatting standards to be a finished product it will most likely be rejected. And your feelings will be hurt. We encourage users who have limited graphic design skills to submit under the "Ideas" submission type so as to avoid this issue.

    3. If we feel your design could qualify for grading by making a few small changes to the type, formatting, layout etc. we will notify you with a formal request.

  2. Creating and submitting your Design

    1. We recommend using vector art or raster image programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Corel Draw, just to name a few. If you don't have design skills that's ok! Just roll on over to our "Ideas" section below.

    2. Once you have created your design you will need to submit the following:

        • A 1000x800 and 900x1000 pixel jpeg (minimum 72dpi) of your design on your chosen color background.
        • A 900x1000 model template with your design and desired placement.
        • The name of your design
        • A description of your design (Be clever, people will read this)
        • The appropriate submission type.
    3. Templates that you will need to submit can be found here.

  3. Submitting your Idea

The beauty here is that there are no set formats or resolution standards. Just be descriptive, clear and concise. If you can muster a sketch or image that's great! Make sure you save and upload the image as a jpeg. If words are all you got, a simple description or explanation will do just fine.

  4. Acceptance to the Competition

College District will notify you within five days of submission whether or not your design/idea has been accepted. If accepted we will send you an email with promotion links to your design so you can show everyone how awesome you are. Designs will only be up for grading for 14 days, so get out there and promote it!

If your design is not accepted we will notify you with an explanation. A detailed list of rejection reasons can be found here.
